My studio is at my home in Sacramento, California. I previously worked at a shared studio in Fair Oaks and at the Mudwomen Studio in Berkeley, California
It's been over 25 years since I took my first ceramics class at Richmond Art Center, and I'm still learning about clay every day. I am mostly a self-taught ceramicist.
However, when I took a few classes at Chabot College with Clayton Thiel, my work became larger and more sculptural.
The direction of the work is driven mainly by my love of gardening.

I currently have work at F. Dorian, in Hayes Valley in San Francisco.
My work has been shown at galleries in Berkeley, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Napa, Alameda, and Mill Valley.
I've participated in a number of shows, including "Altared States" and two garden shows with United Clayworkers, East Bay Open Studios at Mudwomen, and the Women's Craft Fair at Fort Mason in San Francisco as an emerging artist.
I worked with Arts Change in Richmond on many exhibits for the Richmond Health Center. My paper mache pieces are on permanent display at health clinics in Contra Costa County.
I currently volunteer at an arts center for developmentally disabled adults--another unending source of learning!
